Our Love Story
- Where It All Began
- A Friendship Grows
- A Quiet Crush
- A Matter of Timing
- The Message!
- A New Beginning
- Choosing a Life Together
- To Forever!
Our paths first crossed at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church (now Wesleyan International Society, Ayeduase). Unity joined the church in late 2020 during national service, while OT had already been part of the church family since 2017.

In 2022, as I(Unity) became more active in church, the friendship began to grow. His thoughtful nature stood out — whenever I missed church, he would check in on me.
By 2023, we developed a quiet crush on each other, without realizing the feeling was mutual. Yet our friendship remained peaceful and unchanged.
In April 2024, during our MD’s wedding, I(OT) planned to let her know how I feel about her while picking up pastries she had baked. But I discovered she was in a relationship at the time and chose to remain the same supportive friend.
In January 2025, a simple text message I received from her, unbeknownst to me that it had been sent by a mutual friend of ours, sparked a conversation that unexpectedly brought us closer. We had a beautiful conversation, and I(OT) mentioned that I would go over to see her the next day.
During that visit, he finally shared his intentions with me, and a few days later he asked me to be his girlfriend. After prayers, deep reflection, and a strong sense of conviction, we both recognized that this was the beginning of a new and beautiful journey God was leading us into — and I said yes.
Choosing each other was never just about love. It was about commitment, partnership, and the shared desire to serve God together. We believe marriage is a calling, and we are deeply grateful that God has brought us together to walk this journey side by side.
As we prepare to begin this new chapter, our hearts are full of gratitude and hope. We look forward to building a life rooted in Christ, love, patience, and service. Our prayer is that our marriage will always reflect Christ’s love, and that together we will continue to grow, support one another, and honor God in everything we do. ✨💍
